You can visit and stay for sometime, but I wouldn't advice anyone to move here permanently. The country is not yet stable.

I am going to Somaliland around December will visit Mogadishu to after 25 years but that will be around december i dont like going during the summers because to many qurba joogs.

We live in a globalised world, we are millennials we don't stay in one place, we are always jet setting.

I will have my base in London/Somalia, alternating between the two mostly in London though but will also have stakes in other parts of the world. But i will retire in Somalia (erigavo, probably) for sure, with visits back for health checks.

Deeqa Do you mean you wouldn't advice anyone to move to Mogadishu permanently I agree it is unstable. I have relatives who lived in the diaspora and
now live in backhome, many of the other Somali cities are fine.



As for the topic I will go backhome this year inshallah first I need to assess what needs to be done for the locals, then in few years time move there.
