They were not equally matched. The students from Oxford were studying, at least one or two, hyper liberal nonsensical subjects like Classics and French and Germans. While the Edinburgh students ALL had major complicated subject studies like ecology and medicines.

you know oxford and Cambridge are the biggest cheaters in the game, they get 4 to 5 of their colleges to go in the competition to increase their chances of winning.

for example jesus college oxford v Manchester Uni or Emmanuel College, Cambridge v Warwick uni
