The recent talks between Somaliland and Ethiopia in Dire Dawa was equally important step because if Ethiopia inks the proposed 30% port needs, said to be 4 million MT, then Bollore will find such deal too hard to resist. The Somaliland government and Bollore will now discuss terms, conditions and percentages before Bollore flies to Addis Ababa. If all goes well, Bollore, Somaliland and the Ethiopian government including PM will meet in Addis Ababa to sign in officially.
The contract between Somaliland, Ethiopia and Bollore is being managed by the British McCue & Partners Law Firm. They will manage all the legal documents and help break an accord between all three.
Somaliland will also sign other deals with Ethiopia including security arrangements.
