Why should Mudug be divided into two? Federal camps so gala

Postby XimanJaale » Thu Jul 31, 2014 8:05 am

To you federalist campaigners why should Mudug be divided into two?

If we follow the constitution it clearly states that two or more regions should join to form a federal state. Now we can clearly see from the constitution that there is no law on whether administrative (18 regions) border's can be adjusted or fragmented.

Let's all admit it that all this federal charade is nothing but a failure and clear reflection of the tribal rebels we had in the early 90's.

Qabil qaran ma dhisto wax ee burburiso mooyane!

Because it is the law. You can't divide a whole state or a whole city just to suit one small clan. It takes two whole region to form a state.

Already HG settle in 80% of Mudug, so why should 20% of Mudug be annexed just to accomadte a small minority?

The UN needs to see this through, ensure that Galkayo become a united city, capital of Central State.

No. I just want a peaceful and functioning Somalia and sadly this federal process is not leaning towards that but the opposite.

Now lets be mature and professionals. Let's take away the qabil sentiment out of this discussion and debate in a professional manner.

If we look at the constitution it clearly says two or more regions can join to form a federal member state. Nowhere in the constitutions does it state that the current 18 administrative regions can be divided or adjusted. Now if we were to follow the law in a civilised manner, we can see that those people that are advocating for a federal state for 'Southern Mudug' and Galgaduud are in the wrong.

Puntland need to handover Mudug if we were to abide by the rules. Puntland can keep Nugaal and Bari and form a federal state with that.

But again, people are with the qabil sentiment, and all this federal charade is tribal based. Therefore this whole federal system needs to be scrapped.

Listen we must abide by the law if we are creating a federal system.

Either whole of Mudug joins Puntland or it joins the newly formed state (Galgaduud & Mudug). I don't care who it joins as long as it is legal.

First of all, i don't give a damn about this federal BS, not an inch of PL mudug will be ruled by someone else nor do i wish to rule S mudug. Mudug has been divided for the past 20 plus years and might as well call it different names.

ok I get you. You don't care about Somalia you only care about your clan regions. Alright you can forever remain a refugee then whilst other nations are busy building technological innovations.

You have the same mentality as a illiterate warlord, yet you have been brought up in a civilised world.

Why should a 16 year old State disintegrate to pander to a nascent state? There is no land dispute, everyone knows who owns what so move along to the real discussion at hand: joining Galgaduud and Hiiraan in order to qualify as a federal state.

I agree with you. But quark is also a defeatist. He gives up to easily and he is easily influenced. Hence why he only is fixated about Puntland and careless about Somalia as a whole.

For one he admits that the federal system is a bullshit but yet he can't seem to campaign for an alternative.
