Racism issues in Muslim communities

The Muslim community is rife with racism, you've seen the reaction of people like Sahal and other gulf/(Muslamic) Somalis when I mentioned Musa calayhi salaam was black, and that Ciisa calayhi salaam was black with soft hair.

You've seen how Sahal and other Somalis worship the cadaan man, and that black people are inferior.

I'm using Sahal as an example cuz he's got the mentality of the so-called Muslims of the Middle east and Asia.

Even the biggest scholar of the 20th century, Sh. Albani ra, was a racist(that shows even big scholars(may allah protect them) are humans and are a product of their times).

The issue remains if even the scholars aren't free from being racist, what do you think about the laymen.


Need I remind you the racism in Somali culture, that 'Jileec' is superior to 'Jareer', and that lighter is superior, and the way our women rag out the lighting products to reach that higher level of beauty.

as for your OP. Arabs are really racist. they hate black people and see them as slaves. Arabs practised slavery twice as much as anyone else.

Also Arabs credit themselves to everything when it comes to religion. Abrahamic religion (except Mormonism) has a backbone made up of Hebrews and Nubians. arabs just came into the picture later than others.

but they majority of big well respected scholars are arabs. They basically decide what muslims should do when new things come up. They are gonna be asked for advice and have the final word and not the Malaysian/African/European shiekhs.

They have like the legislate for islam due to the knowledge and history advantage they have over other muslims.

For Islamic issues, the best option for us is to obviously follow these big scholars, Arab or otherwise, but for something like social issues and other stuff affecting they're not the best to give advice, as most of them are disconnected from the world, so they wouldn't have answers for us.

For social issues, the scholars from the west and those that know what is going in the world are best to follow.
