How Yemen Chewed Itself Dry

Postby thegoodshepherd » Thu Oct 02, 2014 5:53 pm

Basically, Yemen has used ALL of its water for the production of Khat, and now there is no water left.
Sana'a will have to abandoned by the 2020's because there will be no underground water left be then. +

When you farm Khat on your terraces instead of wheat and grapes
