Sabaaxad - Somali Martial Art

Postby LiquidHYDROGEN » Fri Oct 03, 2014 10:29 am

We really need to standardize and institutionalize this geeljire art. It has saved me from many a big guy. You drop someone on their arese and by the time they get back up you are halfway to Herer.

Instead of belts we can have different colour macawis.

Liquid, my habar jeclo kneegrow in high school took down this humungous cadaan youth with a mad sabaaxad.then he sat on him and held him down for a minute with a headlock.everyone was like wtf just happened even though it was playing fighting.Sabaaxad is too limited though..some guys are just too strong to take down like that.

Lool calling Sabaaxad Somali Martial Art is an insult to the human race. Do you even know the origins of the word Sabaaxad comes from?

The only thing Somalis invented is called tekniko.

Sabaaxad needs two things to work; the element of surprise and momentum. Stick your leg between a big guy's legs and most will lose their balance.
