Meh then it's half the savings, not as relaxed, all the hassle blah blah blah

What a girl needs is a guy who can look after things and then get her shaqaalo so she can spend her days getting a massage, getting her hair done, shopping and really the things that life should be about.
What world do you live in. If you want those things you can ger'off'ur'arse and get to work :comeon:

The man is the man for a reason. What is a man if he cannot be responsible for his wife in every aspect? If you want to cohabit, then that is a different story.
In every aspect? You just want to completely control her. Xalimos, don't get fooled. Get your own money and mind together.
If I wanted to control her, I can control her even with her own money. GTFO you annoying little thing!
You can't control her money if you don't control her mind. Xalimos, do you see this predator? Y'all need to get your mind together unless you want to become a victim of controlling faraxs.

Read the first post, that's the whole point of the thread

I work and spend my money on pretty things and he works and spends the money on all the manly things (the house, the bills, the shaqaalo, the schooling). I don't mind paying for the holidays and the extra curriculars. But he also then must spend some of his money on pretty things which he buys for me and I can buy some manly things for him to show appreciation for his manly behaviour.

You can't control her money if you don't control her mind. Xalimos, do you see this predator? Y'all need to get your mind together unless you want to become a victim of controlling faraxs.
He's OG it's fine, that's what you get.

Obviously the guy pays, under the terms and guidelines of marriage for any principled man

Then again, if someone somewhere is tragically earning a meagre minimum wage...can't exactly fault them for adapting to a situation

In my experience, I bought most of the household stuff i.e. bedroom furniture, living room furniture, kitchen appliances etc.

However when it came to the household bill we paid it together right from the start.

Not marriage expert since I got divorced, but from it I learnt many things. And the most important things is to work together in everything let it be childcare, house bills etc.

Did you have a daughter from that marriage or was that someone else?

No, the husband pays for everything ...the wife spends her money on cosmetics, salons , gym, and clothes.

It feels great to be a woman

What if the guy doesn't work? Or becomes ill etc? Thats why it is always best to share things, for example you do the electric bills, she does water bill, you do gas bill, she does TV bills and so on. Also you can both create a saving account together instead of relying on one individuals savings which isn't fair.

Trust me money/finance is the number one reason why couples marriage get in trouble, so the sooner you agree with a financial system in the family the better the marriage.
