That is called arousal. Not love. Have all the sex you like, and be filled with as much lust as your body can handle, but please don't confuse it with love.

^ Wise words, love and lust are like two drinks. You can drink lust as many times you want, it will never satisfy you. Take a sip of a drink called love and it will be enough to satisfy you for a lifetime and even beyond that.

Hurray at picking up the relationship topic baton

I don't believe in a one true love, I reckon it's more of the one who inspires you to truly love them and after they enter your life they are the only one you see that way. Also there's no finding involved, you only have to be ready to accept them into your life and they you in theirs.

Therefore Julkimi when you are truly ready and open to it and what it can bring, both the good and the bad and believe you can cope whatever happens then he will enter your life.

At the age of 24, I haven't found my one true love, I either thought I loved the jerks who broke my heart or thought I loved idiots who didn't know anything about love. I want to feel like Hazel grace and Augustus Waters. I never felt compelled to search for a true love because I was sheltered with the love of my family, knowing they would always be there for me, I thought I didn't need anyone else. Sadly Somali men don't know how to express their love, I want a man who is crazy about me, who would do stupid things for love. You know scream at the top of his lungs infront of everyone declaring his love for me. As cheesy as this sounds, I am tired of my robotic life, waking up, pray, eat, socializing and work. I want love. I want to smile for no reason just the thought of him. I want to cry about the thought of losing him. I always believed in true love but thought it was impossible. I am tired of these meaningless compliments from men who will not love me for my awkwardness, temper tantrums and calm me down when I have my panic attacks. I want the one that understands me for who I truly am, a clumsy, caring, sensitive girl from the Midwest. The one who would make fun of me infront me but will kill the person who dares to mock me. If I die tonight, how will he remember me? is my one true love exist in this universe? will I ever meet him? Will I make him eat Quinoa salad while he cringes at the thought of eating it but instead makes fun of me for my food choices.

And to this I must conclude my rambling. Does true love even exist? Are we lying to ourselves? I guess I will never know until I conquer it.

i'm like dream
a legal drug of means
for hopeful human beings
receiving hearts are clean
where doubt is so obscene
there's truth and honesty
and so there's modesty
how is the world you see
its lack of harmony
such a calamity
please don't bother me

-love

one thing stood always true no matter what "you can make me love you or you can make me hate you" but in this busy world, who has time. no wonder people are marrying their ajinabi co workers or peers, so much desperation and so little harmony.

Zubeir, Evo, Juls and Jas---No doubt the SAME PERSON. This individual---drinks, eats, farts, and sleeps on love. This individual doesn't know what love is, they think they know--because of the raging hormones. I feel sorry for this pathetic soul walaahi. :dj:

Real LOVE is the one u have for your mom. Or your Dad. Or your children. Unconditional love.

Now--tell me this--say---u tell your 'lover' lets not have 'sex'. How long will u think that epic 'Amore" will last? :D Conditional love, that's right! :stylin:

True love is abstract..everyone sees it their own way. I'm sure your idea of true love exists, because one half of it exists in u, a man who feels the exact same way is probably out there for u, or perhaps a man who can be swayed to your point of view? (this isn't hard to do btw :) )

Good luck in your search..inshallah. you're still young.

Ps, would u be able to tell the deference between when a man is infatuated with u and when a man is in love with u?

^ true, Zulaika made a valid point.
How can you tell if someone is in love with the chase, in love with being in love, or in love with you? The same can be asked about the female.
You'll never know till you try, but what if you want to get it right the first time with patience, instead of trial & error/multiple attempts in a hurry? All of these work and have worked for others before though, no?
