It is nice to see Mogtown in a positive light thanks to folks from diaspora's as well as Turkey's investments there.

It's called EVC plus. You go to Hormuud and give them hard US currency and in return they load your phone with $100 EVC. Also, you go to shops or sarifleey.

Lets say I'm purchasing petro at the neighbourhood gas station. I ask for 20L of gas and they in return provide me with a tel number to send the money to.

e.g. *712*the tel number they provide you*$20# send then you enter a 4 digit pin code. and it is done. You have paid for your gas.

Majority shareholder is Cali Axmed Nuur Jimcaale. You have to be a "special" kind of gardheer to get on Hormuud.

Somalia ranks #6 in the world of mobile banking. Kenya being number 1.
