Yes, Makka Al mukarama is fully functional. It was the artery of Xamar. From Wagad all the way to Afgooye.

Wadnaha road and ummada roads were built as ringroads.

I plan to come next year, and you will be the first to know saaxib. I am thinking of spending a few days in Sydney or Melbourne because I have old friends.

Warya back in the days when there was very few somali immigrants in Eastleigh.
Those that would return to Somalia/Xamar would mention what they found out.

Jalle max there was this middle aged man that was asked where his kipande is by the askari, it goes like this.

Another lady was told by an ciyala suuq that if she was asked wapi Kipande she should say Shika matiti.

Then it happened that on her way from qaxotiga to Garissa. the bus she was travelling with was stopped at a check point.
Then an askari asks her.
Askari: Wapi Kipande?
Lady:Shika matiti
Askari:ati nini?
Ladiy:shika matiti
he laughs and sends another police who gets same reply they burst into laughter and they left her.

Yeah I have seen that part but let it slip since Lam has not been to Xamar. When the new Terminal is opened, I was told no one will be allowed to enter the arrival terminal except in the waiting/welcoming hall.

Haa that's right. It's not safe for them anyway. The airport will function just like other international airports with rules to abide iinshallah.

Deeqaay, dadka diinta ku adag have tendencies to lean towards the extreme side a lot and make fictional stories less interesting, well unless they're portrayed in thriller/action/detective scenes/situations where they're the bad guys. lol

Geo, I do some basic research saaxib; I talk to some people (ppl who worked in Xamar in the 1970s-80s). I ask them to describe how Somalia was before the civilwar.

My characters; cusbo ayaa loo baahanyahay. I have been asked this question before by PrinceDaadi. I don't find drinking and diinlaaw as major problems; our nation (and people) have other big issues to deal with; soo saas ma aha?


If I have the time, I will write a story about a hijabi woman (Umu Qariso) and her "pious" husband (Abu afminshaar). Stay tuned
