This world is erected upon the principle of reciprocity. Neither a drop of kindness nor a speck of evil will remain unreciprocated. For not the plots, deceptions, or tricks of other people. If somebody is setting a trap, remember, so is God. He is the biggest plotter. Not even a leaf stirs outside God’s knowledge. Simply and fully believe in that. Whatever God does, He does it beautifully.

Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.

Just reading, 'Message to the blackman in America'.
Page 39-40, reminds me of Somalis with an education in the West selfishly/comfortably detaching themselves from Somalia.
We should acquire an education where our people will become better students than their teachers. Get an education which will make our people produce jobs for self and will make our people willing and able to go do for self. Is this not the goal and aim of the many foreign students who are studying in this country? Will not these students return to their own nations and give their people the benefit of their learning? Did not Nkrumah return to Ghana to lead his people to independence with the benefit of learning he acquired here in America and elsewhere? Did not Dr. Hastings Banda return to give the benefit of his education to his people who are striving toward freedom and independence in Nyasaland? Did not Nnamdi Azikiwe of Nigeria give the benefit of his education to the upliftment and independence of his people. Does not America offer exchange scholarships to smaller, weaker and dependent foreign governments so their students will acquire knowledge to aid the people of those countries? Then why shouldn't the goal in education be the same for you and me? Why is scorn and abuse directed toward my followers and myself when we say our people should get an education which will aid, benefit and uplift our people? Any other people would consider it a lasting insult, of the worst type, to ask them to refrain from helping their people to be independent by contributing the benefit of their knowledge."

Sovlsworn - Why do you think that is so? Do you think we want to provide hand outs before we give hand ups? Or are we so "selfish" that we prefer to never look back. It kind of reminds me of the talented-tenth - black people that appear to be under the impression that success in academics, sports, entertainment, business or an honourable title make them the "chosen ones" to help their people from the comfort of their ivory tower - located in a cadan suburbs/gated communities, while they scorn and scuff about why their people that aren't doing so well simply can't help themselves. (While they don't do any ground work, or sparingly contribute funds). :lupe: I just want to know where you're coming from?

^^ Yes and yes.
I just think that if people are privileged they are obliged to help their communities in their homeland. Ultimately, our responsibility is to help others. People should not be so consumed in their own achievements and consider it as proof of their self-sufficiency. When in fact the bedrock of their success is vested in the environment which moulded their parents, which is the homeland they now shun and feel no affinity towards. :? :(

“If tribe does not evolve into a nation, not a nation as a nationalist, but a universal concept of a nation as advanced by the Quran and exemplified by the Prophet. Then our endeavours as Muslims become fruitless.”

:notsure: Good quote but Farrakhan and Nation of Islam don't really represent our religion or faith at all.

Not even close! Their ideology has deviated so far from the real islam that it's preposterous that they even have the world Islam in Nation of Islam but I'll keep it simple. What's the first pillar of Islam? Declaring there is no god but allah and Muhammad (saws) is his messenger. Now the first part of that. Tawhid aka the oneness of god and not attributing anything to him. Now that that's clear let's look at the Nation of Islams Ideology.

They believe that god was incarnated in their founder Fard Muhammad. Some believe that Prophet Muhammad (saws) was Gods son. This goes against the first pillar of islam so automaticlaly you rule them out the fold of islam since their attributing god to some human nigga in Brooklyn astagfirullah. Also they aren't obligated to pray five times a day or fast. So right there off the bat they nullified 3 pillars of Islam. Not to mention all the other crazy and stupid shit they do. Like practice and teach xenophobia and racism, they call all white people the devil and also teach anti-Semitism. They also believe this crazy nigga who looks like a DragonBall Z character created white men, he was some crazy scientist that lived 6000 years ago.

Image

Malcom X was originally part of this cult (yes a cult that's all they are) and eventually left for Sunni Islam. That's when he did the famous Hajj pilgrimage and everything. He realized how wack and different Nation of Islam was to the real islam and also realized the lack of racial discord amongst the real Muslims. He came back to America and made this group i forget what it's called but he pretty much preached we should be proud of our black identity but the real enemy of black Americans wasn't the white man but racism itself. Unfortunately he spoke out against them and shit so they ended up killing him. So yeah Nation of Islam is not even close to the real Islam muffs.

^^RCV, it seems like you have a mainstream understanding of the teachings of the Nation of Islam. You shouldn’t get your information from secondhand sources, I suggest you #AskFarrakhan at https://twitter.com/LouisFarrakhan/stat ... 9277174784 and/or watch him school the scholars.
