Should Somali Unite or Seperate?

As a Somalilander, I think somalia is better of if it divided into smaller independent nations. Like Somalialand, Somalia, NFD, Somali Galbeed, Puntland, Jubaland, Galmudug...
Some people may disagree, but that is my opion.
This would never work, even if there is peace there would never be full justice. The people share the same language and religion. But they are politically different. The only thing uniting somali right now is the aid money.
Plus it is better to have many smaller countries than 1 big country, we would still be allies. Look at the gulf countries for example smaller nations than before, but all allies and all very succesful. Compared to when Arabia was united. And look at the soviet union, the counties that broke away are doing much better.

The problem is that our politics is not party politics but clan politics. Everyone supports the person from their clan. That's backward thinking. If only we each individually voted someone into power because they held similar views.

Mate it is not just to do with clans even though that is the main reason, it is also to do with politics, culture, language...
I don't think there would ever be any1 that can unite the entire somali peninsula. There would also be people against it.
Plus it has been 23 years since siyade barre left. People were hoping for a new government that is more fair, more transparent and more influential.
But all the presidents after Barre did little for the country and the people, instead they just filled up their pockets.

Somali needs to devide, and other somalis leaving in kenya and ethiopia need to form their own countires.

Somaliland is united my friend, there is no such thing as Awdal land and Khatumo. There is a small perventage of people that don't support somaliland, but that is a fraction of the population. Plus somaliland is on the rise, the people want to keep the peace and keep developing their country.

Buhoodle, is the only town in somaliland, that opposed somaliland. The vast mojority of people support somaliland. Even some people from Buhoodle are pro somaliland, like the polician Xaglatoosiye.
No one is perfect, but 99.9% percent of the people living in somaliland back somaliland. Because they know there is no hope in going back to somalia.

I never said that you are twisting my words. I said Somaliland is united, and if 99.9% of the people in somaliland are united, then just because 0.1% of people want to break away that does not mean somaliland is divided. And like I have mentioned some people from buhoodle support somaliland. Somaliland does not force any1, every 1 is entitled to their opinion. As long as these people do not pose any threats then let them be. Forcing them is not the way forward, we would win these people over very soon with success and good politics. What makes you think these people would not join, even the people of Talex has joined somaliland.

I completely agree I'm all for Awdal state, Maakhir State and khaatumo state ... but remember Somaliland did it with force they took up arms fought the state they didn't wake up one morning to a divided state.
