Yes I undersand it is a grim picture out there, but shying away from it, is the easy way out don't you think?...you only have one life to live you might as well immerse yourself in it and leave a good stamp of you when you're done, however small...

That's my motto.

xoogSADE--I feel the same most days walahi. It's us thinking and caring people that suffer the most while idiots just go on about their lives without worrying about wars, hunger, diseases and others ills that plague mankind.

The Prophet (scw) said a time would come when the situation will be so bad that man will desire to live by himself in the mountains with his herd of goats and not bother himself with people anymore. While this is ok, the man who lives amongst his family and friends and shares their difficulties is better. By the way, these weren't his exact words but u get the meaning..

Just try to keep a positive attitude and work hard. Insha'Allah things will get better. I know it's hard but what can u do...

About going back to somalia, i day dream about this everyday walahi. But i don't want to go back to somalia without education or money. If i go now, what will i do? At least if i finish school and collect some money to start another life, i can contribute something to my people.

lil trigger when i said 'here' i was referring to the united states or whatever western country you call home Cool abti how can one get closer to his maker when living and working in a place where homesexuality is the cool thing to do Evil or Very Mad

LH

good points, i know one day i'll def move back to somalia and help lead my peoples to a better direction. i think if everyone goes back to his clan's domain and starts educating his people on the importance of life and settling disputes in a civilized manner, then we can sort of kickstart a grassroots movement lead by our generation which would eventually lead to all somalis being united again Cool
