*I'm confused about the lyrics of somali...*

Postby Venusta » Fri Jan 16, 2015 10:20 am

Music

Can they be for want of a better word 'dirty'.

I heard the song...koobka caashaqa or something...and told my sister enough with music it's not allowed and she
started arguing with me about how somali music has wise words and one can learn a thing of two from them about life...

so the lyrics are kabo caanaha kabo e.t.c I said that the lines can have various shades of meaning...so they're not all wise words..she said I venusta have a dirty mind

well there is also shafkana i saar...so I am not coo coo and also something about satisfying their basic needs

Anyways I don't know many somali songs but they might have love as the base theme but some of the lyrics are bold...sax?
