Chilinbadboy, if only you knew. The somali technical is actually vastly superior to tanks in the terrain of Somalia. They also don't require as much fuel and expertise in repair. A couple of anti-tank missiles on technicals can master the tank in the horn of africa. Even the ICU despatched them with no problem.

well I agree with you our economy could severely be damaged if Ethiopia collapses. but there is no way I will accept Ethiopia to be stronger than we are in terms of unity, fire power and economy. those niguz are our enemies they will only use that to dictate us. ethiopis should always be 1 step behind us. and that can not be maintained if we keep clapping for them. we are supposed to influence their internal politics. we must use alshabaab to radicalize the muslim ethios Now. the same way they use somalia warlords !

Damn right. The war between Libya and Chad in the late 80's proves this when the poorly equipped Chadian army defeated the vastly superior Libyan forces by using technicals with anit-tank missiles against the Libyan armor. The thing is though the only decent anti-tank missiles Somalis have ( or at least Somaliland ) are a few TOW missiles left over from Siad Barre's military.

This is good news for Ethiopia, but bad news for Somalia and Somalis.

Soon every Somali tribe will possess tanks, courtesy of the Habash.

It can't happen, at least not until the UN completely lifts the arms embargo on Somalia.

Rifles and grenades are easy to transport and smuggle into the country. Tanks, helicopters and all that other military hardware would be a little trickier.

What we're trying to do, is to prevent a Balkanization of Somalia. And improved weapons will make this a virtual guarantee. If every Qabiil had helicopters and tanks and other weaponry, what will happen is that Somalia will be forced to split into autonomous states, independent of one another. They won't be able (or willing) to come to the negotiation table....and sadly we'll see our beautiful country split into several small states.

Which could be an absolute disaster, as it might leave us vulnerable to outside powers.
