Believe me growing it out is a difficult journey, it looks nothing like awesome. I was this close to cutting last week. 12 months is right in what they call 'awkward stage'. Most of the time I go out I wear a hoodie or beanie thing cos it's cold.

Have a good diet, drink lots of water and exercise. It is the internal health u should focus on first, a healthy body produces a healthy long hair. The hair products are secondary stuff, they will be useless without dealing with the primary issue.
