The Nile conflict is a conflict which has its roots in the colonial treaties Britain orchestrated during its stay in Egypt and the Sudan. There has to be a comprehensive agreement on this no one is denying that Egypt has a superior air force but it will not use and the Sudan issue also stands in the way. Egypt now tries to create a new relationship with South sudan.

Djibouti benefits from its Economic Commercial ties with Ethiopia it benefits from Ethiopia and the electricity from the Ethiopian grand renaissance dam. People dont understand the world does not operate like Somalis think, Militarily is a last resort only Somalis would use the army as the first option to get things done hence the demise of the former Somali republic.
The Egyptians have been dreaming of an alliance with the Somalis in the Horn of Africa because there were animosities between the Somalis and the Ethiopians in the past , the Egyptians tried to revive the Former Somali republic it has tried so many efforts.
