This is completely normal in Somalia.
Local calls are free and I would often hear calls made to the house with people insulting each other.

Everywhere is the same, the original Somali Americans have very good dhaqan. The influx of nairobi rafugees brought some strange stuff that makes me blush. I don't even see this with Somalis straight from Somalia. Just the kikiyu influenced qaxootis.
