i dont think you understood my post for if you did you woyld have found your answer, but i will answer you anyways. because of arms embargo somalia has asked, requested, begged to let international community to allow it to build an actual army. it was denied but now there are talks it might happen and when it does no more jareers will be found in somalia, you will see!!!!!If this is the case, why wasn't all this achieved without AMISOM?
you are either ignorant to the facts on the ground or your a jareer cheerleader ,one or the other the choice is yours. unlike you my heroes in somalia are the poor skinny malnourished soldiers who wear sandals, and carry one clip of ammo to battle, they are the poor souls who run unprotected along the heavy gun mounted personell carriers.they fight and die for $100 a month. while the jareers you call heroes are hiding in heavely protected vehicles, in battle they have unlimited ammo, so they shoot in all direction whey they are fired upon. they barely leave their baracks where they eat fufu and sometimes rape poor somali women. theyre olny reason for being there is that uncle sam doesnt trust us with heavy weapons so he gave it to them instead.they do a very weak job supporting our poor boys, yet the get paid ten times more.our boys are liberating us the jareers only drive tanks and heavy machinery, the real fighting is done by the brave somalis. they thought they could fight in somalia when they first arrived because they thought it was the congos, after several taste of defeat it hit them lets only play a supportive role.thats your idea of heroes get lost cheerleader.
Lets not romanticize them. They are hired guns, getting paid very handsomely. Theres no favors in this world.
Arab soldiers wouln't mobilize and go to Somalia because they already have money and jobs for their youth.

It is a good debate and could have been better if we cut the racist jargon out of it and use Amisom troops instead of jareers and addoons. Having said that, it is true Amisom troops are paid handsomely and for a poor soldier from Rwanda and Uganda to be deployed in Somalia is like winning The jackpot. But Incognito and others have you considered why Uncle Sam and the IC community doesn't trust the Somali soldiers to be equipped with heavy machinery? SNA troops in every gobol are tribally based and recently we have witnessed in each of many of these gobols liberated from Alshabab, they were fighting over the spoils of war. Is it a Somali problem or an Amisom problem when our leaders can't even trust to be guarded and transported by Somali troops incase they have been infiltrated by Alshabab or work in tangent with other leaders and want to assisinate them? Without a doubt, regardless of how much Amisom troops are paid, the verdict is that they have contributed to the little peace we enjoy today. Cudurka qabyaaladda marka aanu Iska soo meeydhno, then we can create a genuine SNA who give their loyalty to their country and not some tribal warlord called madaxweeynaha gobolka Bisad San Ka Taabte. Till then, hired guns from Burma's Karen tribe will replace Amisom. Allah, maxaa riwaayad laysku dhigayaa meeshaan.

thank you thank you thank you my dear sensible brother, i have been saying this all night. may allah bless our poorly equiped brothers for their bravery.Jareerku, they are stationed in their heavily fortified barracks. The last and first time they engaged with alshababs was when they attacked their base recently. Even then, the poorly salaried somali army came to their recue and finished the job for them.
If our soldiers were given good incentives and good salary. Just half of what the jareers earn, somalia will be restored in less than six months. The government hires somali soldiers. Trains them well and then, no salary??? Still 99.99% of fighting is done by our poorly equipped soldiers. So instead of giving gratitude where it deserves,
You are dishing undeserved praise on a ugandese and a burundese who most likely paid a bribe to be sent to somalia to earn money he/she would have never dreamed off. Who stays in a heavily guarded compound with gym facilities and everything he needs without lifting a finger??
No you will never for once say good things about the real Heros that brave the bombs and the mayhem that is Mogadishu day in day out. The hero that keeps fighting for his country despite all the odds stacked against him. The one abandoned by his brother to join those who disrupt the capital because of lack of salary. The hero that wakes up every morning knowing it might be the last morning to see his kids and beloved family but still goes ahead to do his/her duty for country and people.
That's the real hero my freind who deserves your recognition and praise.
But no you are a known jareer lover. Not surprising at all. Not surprising seeing you doing what you love doing day in Day out here.

brother there is whole somali tribe named bah jareerweyn!!! are you saying thats racist too? i never said adoon,or maddow but i did use the danyeer for the jareers unloyal ways.everything has its time and the somalia of today, i believe is mature enough to work out its troubles alone. to say the jareers brought us peace is to deny the hard work done by our brothers, who have sacrificed their precious lives to safe guard what litttle peace exists. its not perfect yes it will take time, but every nation that has fallen helped itself raise up again. we are being denied that right by the white man, who has denied us the right to have a unified professional army with discipline and good pay. instead we now have militias trianed by jareers, and get payed $100 so take it as you will. i give no credit to the jareer, theyare there as a punishment from their white master thats all. if mr white man says yes with in a year we can have a real army ,that will crush al shabaab. but these jareers dont fight much, they play supportive role. now does that make a change? yes but a useless one for a cool $1500 per jareer that we will pay back tomorrow, thats what pisses me off. this is our history and i dont want no jareer in it when they havent done much.

LOL. You want me to give you a cookie for not beating your wife as well? this is funny to me. somalis should be invested in fixing our country. i'm giving props for people who should not be invested in our country willing to die (even if they are getting paid) to help it.It is a good debate and could have been better if we cut the racist jargon out of it and use Amisom troops instead of jareers and addoons. I would hope somalis in the south would be invested in fixing their own problems. Its mostly because reer konfuur has not done their job that southern somalia fell into such chaos for so long. so excuse me for giving credit to the Ugandans for being around right at the time the south finally gets its act together. Even if they are only doing it for money, I'm gonna give props to the Ugandans for doing what NO ONE ELSE ON EARTH did it for over 20 years. which is step foot inside the chaos of xamar and southern somalia.
