I don't understand why the SL government panders to this flip flop traitor. Send him packing to Xamar so they can devour him fully. The guy is a coward and is only interested in furthering his own political ambitions. But who is using who?

he was a pro unionist Isaaq being used as a puppet by the Southern clans to delegitimize Somaliland claims to independency. They used him as long as he served a purpose, when his novelty expired they ate him up and spat him back out. He had harboured dreams of political importance within the Somalia government but they treated him with contempt and told him some hard hitting truths.

After that shock, he changed his tune and was all pro Somaliland after that in a bid to build bridges with his own people. SL government extended an olive branch in which he grasped with both hands. He was offered the red carpet treatment as a Wadani but we all know this is a case of history repeating itself. The SL government is just using him to reinforce it's own claims to secession and using him as a spokesman for SL for the international community.

Long story short. Its a case of I scratch your back and you mine. Inevitably though, once he outlives his usefulness again he will be discarded all over again.

sxb He is Gadabuursi :snoop:

Btw he wasn't being used, he believed in Unity his entire life until he saw the corrupted politics of Somalia when he ran for election in 2012.
He now believes in SL or some sort of North and South power sharing deal? I'm not too sure.

Yeah you're right, my bad.

I think he was used. He realized that when he tried to run for presidency. He hasn't healed from that but rather feels quite bitter over it. He blames Mogadishu as being a cancer blah blah.

He's in SL to understand why the people feel patriotic over SL and has changed his perspective somewhat. He's pro secession now saxiib.

He said what many other reer waqooyi said about somalia, that there's nothing in xamar for reer waqooyi. He's actually a sincere person, and only someone sincere can realize there faults. He's pro somalis in general, and came up North to better the situation of his people, the Gadabuursi.

Did this guy expect to win back when he ran for president in 2012? If a non Abgaal Hawiye can't even become the president in the stage that we're in did he think a Gudabursi could do it?

He is an okay guy but Somalia is not ready for his views nor do we want his views. He believes Islam should have nothing to do with ruling Somalia and the people of Somalia do not agree with that.

Tbh I think Somalia as a country is never going to last

Somaliland will likely get independence. Puntland will also get tired of being marginalised and ask for the same. Also Xamar will continue to get everything.

After them who knows, Perhaps the Jubbalanders will also want independence

The thing that makes Somalia different from other countries is that all the factions are as strong as each other. If any regional state announces that it wants separation literally no one can stop them :pac:

As for that carton hat, I wouldn't want to wear that silly hat too or maybe he didn't want to wear it because of the temperature. Srsbsns calm down, he has done much for Somaliland He went through a re-lapse of what every Waqooyi in the past went through, especially Cigaal. Allahu u naxariisto. It's the love for all Somali's that deeply installed in Reer Waqooyi, they eventually realize, that the Walwayns are full of deceit, bribery and corruption that they've adopted from their Italian masters. :eat:

Sore loser!

When he arrived in the capital of Somalia, he was admiring the city and its hardworking residents. He used brag about taking public transportation, walking and talking to ppl. He had nothing but good things to say. Fast forward to couple of days after HSM won the presidency, Prof. Samatar quickly flew back to Minneapolis and cried to the media like a little girl who lost her fav doll.
He has no humility, and that is his downfall. He will never lead a nation, sad but true.

Somalia doesn't need him. He can F off!
