There is no place for Libertarianism in America beyond Ayn Rand book discussions lol
Besides Paul can hardly qualify as one. There is a huge philosophical difference between Libertariansim and conservatism and to say you are both is an oxymoron. He is selling this small government mantra that will sound good to the low information voter but the majority wont buy it. The idea of a GOP libertarian will also be appealing and generate discussion....but that is about all it will accomplish. America is driven to maintain its superpower status and Libertarianism is directly in conflict with such interests.
We should really call him for what he is: A Tea Party Republican.
If he wins the presidency the bull market in the US stock market will end. Paul is the most interesting candidate from a trader's perspective.
Elizabeth Warren is also quite destructive to wall street, but I have my doubts she has what it takes.
The GOP will not nominate him if they really want the presidency. He will only make their primaries interesting for a change. As for Warran, she already stated she will not run in an interview with NPR a while ago. I actually prefer her to H. Clinton.
