Somalis are respected in the different diaspora communities. Just not in the UK. No one respects beggars and people who claim other identities. I told the people from this community to stop their begging but the begging only gets worse. They could have just begged the Arabs privately but they must always bring their shame on Twitter. If you think you come from an Arabs 7th centuries testicles, keep it to yourself. Why must you publicly shame us?

A lot of people on this website talk shit about us UK Somalis and try to portray us as failures in order to make themselves feel good about their pathetic lives, so lets do a simple comparison and find out the truth.

FACT
1. There are more Somalis in Canada than in the UK but as a whole, there are more Somalis in the UK who are in employment. We have thousands of Doctors, Engineers, Lawyers and other professionals. On the other hand, most Somali Canadians are either: 1) Unemployed 2) In gangs. 3) Welfare leeches. Of course there are some who are more like us folks in the UK but they're unfortunately a minority.
2. Somalis in the UK have more influence in Somaliland/Somalia than those in Canada because we invest in our hometowns more heavily than others who reside in Canada.
3. You will never hear of Somali youth being shot in the UK, however in Canada this is a daily occurrence.
4. Somalis in the UK are proud of their culture and the vast majority of Somalis who grew up in the UK can speak fluent Somali. On the contrary, Somalis in Canada can't even speak English properly let alone Somali! Most of you guys try to speak like Jamaicans and end up as FOBs. Somali Canadians try to emulate African Americans in the way they dress, talk and walk.
5. Our houses may be smaller, but they are well-built and furnished unlike the shoddy monstrosities Canadians call houses.
