I might open a new thread on it actually.In my opinion, there is nothing wrong in being an advocate for social justice issues be they towards suffering Somalis or other people who are suffering. Non Somalis advocate for Somalis in dire situations wherever they are, likewise, why can't a Somali advocate for others who are in similar situations? Advocacy for the Social justice of the suffering, exploited, destitute, oppressed and marginalised people transcends nationalities. In commenting about Social Justice, our Prophet PBUH said, "People are as equal as the teeth of a comb". It is a moral virtue in Islam. Allah SWT Says in the Quraan, "God does not forbid you from doing good and being just to those who have neither fought you over your faith nor evicted you from your homes."
