Oh it's a somali website that is talking crap about Somalis in MN. I won't stress over it.

But let's keep this in mind. All of non-American business is owned by Somalis. Somalis own restaurants, daycares, adult day centers, clinics, rehabilitation centers and grocery stores. Without Somalis MN wouldn't thrive. I am sick and tired of other Somalis trying to shit on MN Somalis. For what? What do you have to gain? We have the mayor, governor and senator on speed dial. That's how successful Somalis are. If anyone wants run for an office in mn they have to please us first.

Edmonton and Calgary have comparable cost of living to Minneapolis. You can find a 3 bedroom home for about $1500 in a middle class neighbourhood. But incomes are much higher in Alberta.

Nothing against Minnesota but there are many Somalis in their mid 20s who are buying condos and homes here. I will be joining them this summer. I don't think there are many Somali youth who can do that in Minnesota at the moment at that age
