You said Somaliland flag and then majeerten.

and before you claimed "us" ( as in isaq) Take what the BBC say as the gospel truth

Why are you such a qabiilist huuno?
The reference was in regards to you being British. If you took it as a qabiil attack then you're the one with the problem. :MJ: I mentioned Somaliland, not Isaaq, and Majerteen is the ethnic background of the revered King, but he is as much your King as he is mine. :geek: Please respect the rules of this website. I wouldn't want you to get banned for deliberately trying to derail a topic.

What I can't take serious is not the good he is doing but the whole monarchy thing.
As I said, I am happy to see the good he is doing.

Good move by the Somali king, at least he conducted himself as an emissary for all the Somali people in the shanty towns who experienced xenophobic attacks in South Africa.

But I'm confused of the two pictures? Which one is King Burhan Mussa and which one is the Xhosa King Mpendulo Sigcau?

He should stop dressing like a Saudi. It's embarrassing and ugly.
King Burhan is trying to stop the xenophobic attacks on Somalis in South Africa and all you can comment on is his attire. What do you want him to wear, a macawis and shirt?

That is what I was about to ask bro Itrah. The keyword here is royalty meets with royalty, and in Somalia, there is only one royalty :D the Osman Mohamud Royalty

Maybe you don't know what a monarch is.
Monarch noun mon·arch \ˈmä-nərk, -ˌnärk\

1: a person who reigns over a kingdom or empire: as
a : a sovereign ruler
b : a constitutional king or queen
2 : one that holds preeminent position or power
http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/monarch

This is not someone who was inaugurated in the back of a Khat house somewhere in Eastleigh. He is from the Royal family and descends from a line of Kings ( he is the 34th King). You are forgiven for your ignorance and confusion. :MJ:

You and Jalaaludin can take your critique of his appearance and apparel to another topic.

Show respect, this is the king and that is how the real royalty dresses. Pay attention to the good work he is doing - where he is saving the lives of thousands of Somalis and other African migrants from the xenophobic attacks in South Africa!

The Arab gear is cringworthy.

The Fufu is at least dressed according to custom.

Then again, what would we have him wear? Two pieces of white cloth, sandals and a ceremonial spear to boot.

Anyway, kudos to the Daroods for marketing their King worldwide.

How would you want him to dress? His father/grandfather/greatgrandfather etc never worse a macawiis, two white sheets or whatever you consider to be 'Somali'. His not dressed much differently to his ancestors.
