we are the only state who have most of its citizens finger and iris prints . when somaliland civil registration is complete withing the next couple of weeks it will be the most accurate population data in the world . we are not just able to see the number of our country population but we also know the general population of each sub clan because all those registered were approved by their sub clan chief . your aqil name,his signature and your subclan are all recorded.

Last year when I was in Puntland I heard many random people on the streets of Bosaso speaking Af-Maay. I wouldn't be surprised if tens of thousands of them migrated to this region.
