He is probably a proud supporter of the Puntland Independence Movement (PIM) like I am.You can be proud of whatever you want walaal, but can I ask you, are you proud to be a Somali from Somalia or only a proud Puntlander?
But you're a proud Somalilander, so why can't I be a proud Puntlander? I don't see you trolling the Somaliland section.
I once asked this Puntland guy if he was proud of Somalia, he quickly responded NO, but then I asked him if he was proud of Puntland, which he gladly answered with YES. That's twisted since Puntland is a state of Somalia? I knew damn well if I started a discussion with him it would be fruitless, you can't learn an old dog new tricks. I just brushed it off my shoulders and went back to minding my business.
When you ask me if I'm proud of Somalia, you might as well ask me if I'm proud of Somaliland, Djibouti, NED, or Zone 5. They are all equal to me. Unfortunately, gooni isu taaga Dal Udug is not the current policy of the Puntland government so Puntland will remain part of Somalia for the foreseeable future. There is no contradiction in being proud of Puntland but not Somalia. The contradiction is in having to reluctantly support a government that does not share all of my political views.
