Please forgive me because its Ramadan texts

Postby Idman702 » Wed Jun 17, 2015 1:07 pm

Since last night my text messages have been non stop. People sending me random messages asking for forgiveness. I hate part time Muslims. You know the ones who will talk crap about you, judge you then lord behold when it's Ramadan they flock to your text message and ask for forgiveness. Dont talk crap about people in the first place. Fear Allah all year round not just Ramadan.

And dumb ass MN people are already preparing for Eid parties who does that? They make me sick.

Anyways Ramadan kareem.

I am so excited about it, my stomach is full of butterflies.

P.s

Do you crave for foods you don't normally eat before Ramadan?

Part time muslims? Audhubillah. Never belittle any good deed. They may strive in Ramadhan and continue afterwards. Hell I started praying and practising in Ramadhan 07 and been striving since.

Never put down anyone's trying or motivation. If your not part of the solution, your part of the problem. Don't use high and mighty terms like part time muslims. Everyone has their own issues to work with.

May Allah allow them to be steadfast after ramadhan. Its a month of Mercy. Where the gates of Jannah are open, the gates of Jahanam are closed and the shayateen a locked up.

Here comes the lawyers!

Yes I called them part time Muslims. These people don't pray other times, don't do good deeds all year round. I know folks who only pray during Ramadan and go to clubs on Eid nights. What do you call those?

Part of the problem? How am I part of the problem when they know better not to only fear Allah swt only Ramadan. You can lead a horse to the water but you can't make that horse drink the water.

Because its Ramadhan and they are trying and wanting to strive. Its not another month. You are putting them down. The solution is dawah. Help them strive and advise them to keep it up after Ramadhan.

You are neither leading them to water or making them drink. You are mocking them not wanting the water any other time but now.

So yeah, don't who don't try to motivate and give dawah but complain why these jahil people don't try when its not ramadhan are part of the probelm. Ramadhan is a blessed Month. Its a month where everyone should try. Don't who don't try are something else.

Fastin is only for Allah swt. Its an Act of worship that Allah SWT made for himself.
"Every action of the son of Adam is given manifold reward, each good deed receiving then times its like, up to seven hundred times. Allah the Most High said, 'Except for fasting, for it is for Me and I will give recompense for it, he leaves off his desires and his food for Me.' for the fasting person there are two times of joy; a time when he breaks his fast and a time of joy when he meets his Lord, and the smell coming from the mouth of the fasting person is better with Allah than the smell of musk." [Al-Bukhaaree]

Them 'part-time' muslims are at least trying and liek me, could keep it up after ramadhan.

If you don't see where I'm getting at, then Allah yahdeek.

I get your point but I don't think it's fair to label them that way. Who knows, they could become full time Muslims after Ramadan :D

The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Do not belittle any good deed, even meeting your brother (Muslim) with a cheerful face".

Most of the texts I've received were identical. If you're going to ask for forgiveness, shouldn't you use your own words? Where's the sincerity in sending a mass text?

Good for you that you've succeeded. You didn't get my original point they're sending texts messages asking fir forgiveness just its Ramadan. Why send text messages right before Ramadan? Why act holier than thou right before Ramadan? Why act righteous right before Ramadan.

They could have asked forgiveness before...

Again I call it how I see it.

Loooool

Tell me about it! It should come from your heart and it doesn't seem sincere.

Solid: I call it how I see it.. Sorry. I am not belittling them or making fun of them.
