@ZubeirAwal: Such an idealist. Where is this Utopia you speak of? Wax maa idin sheega, aduunka side hore ma'ahan. The more you travel the more you realize that we truly live in a global village. Meel walbo aad tagto fasaad iyo fitna way kaga horeyaan.
I share the same sentiments as some of the previous posters, when they say be an example for your children. "Do as I say say, not as I do" maa soconeysa. You will see islaan cirka laga so turey, she goes from baady to baady, guriga maa fadhido 24/7 waxay ku jirta wareeg iyo waabo tiris. But she wants her daughters to be dutiful daughters who maintain the house.
In order to be an example for children, I think it's important to assume traditional gender roles, lets go back to the nuclear family. The father needs to be the head of the household doing the best to provide for his children ( in a halal manner), be the disciplinary. And the mother needs to tend to the flock when the father is away, midka qaloocan iney tooosiso.
The reality is we cannot escape fasaadka aduunka kaa socdaa. Even if you go to miyga yaa wax aad laa yabto wad arki. The only thing you can do is equip your children with the ability to decipher from the truth from falsehood. And leave the rest to the One who created them.
