pls status is a semi-autonomous region not a federal state

Pl was believed to be the closest to form a federal state since its ready but no single federal state exists or will exist till the boundary commission have a say in this

in the south central region, the govt is forming interim states till that commission makes the new federal map

Theres a policy called refederalization from mogadishu....when the south-central region is finish, next will be pl without the disputed regions

The disputed regions will have political representatives and their fate will debend on them

They r now part of some secret arrangenents as a whole but the results only god knows.

do you know that it was gaas who made them disputed regions in a request from farole back when he was the pm? Khatumo has reached a deal with sh sharif of recognizing it as a semi-aunomous region just like ahlusunna and galmudug and when mahiga was close to call them for the road map conference just like pl, galmudug and ahlusunna, he got stopped by gaas
