FGM is haram in the same way that wilfully blinding yourself or cutting your arm off is haram. The consequences of FGM are disastrous. There is enough evidence pointing to how dangerous this practice is. So don't even try to claim otherwise.FGM is not haram. No where in the Quran or Hadith it says it is haram.
