actor nour el sharif dies

Postby sahal80 » Thu Aug 13, 2015 5:18 am

the first time I came across of nour sharif was in 1994- maybe some of you were not yet born lol- in his tv series omar abd al aziz. i didnt know his past and his actress wifes nudi scenes and kisses so after I found out this, months later, i was like wtf...apparently its the actors job to do any role but as someone who has only spent there one year i was thinking of him too a good model since then i have been used to it lol......brainwashing at its finest!

May allah forgive him

Omar abd al aziz is know as the fifth rightly guided caliph, he was pious man and it wasnt his chose to sit on the unpopular ummayad throne, however he did a lot of reforms like releasing what remined of the ala bayt from their prisons and stopping all the official insults against imam ali alaihis salam

May allah reward him jannah

I don't like Arab shows or films.
Egyptians especially, don't appeal to me.
Most of their TV shows are extreme, kisses, nude, sex scenes, Un-Islamic script etc etc.

Their media is really open and their accent is hilarious.

Nour al Sherif was an extraordinary actor in Egyptian drama...I can really count how many of his works I have watched but there are few that I reminisce watching again..

Haroun al-rashiid (A series based on the Abbasid khalif)
Ar-rajul al akhar
Al Haj Mutawali sa3eed ( the mishaps of a man married to 4 wives) the last work I watched of Nour al sharif...back in 02/01 not sure..

Egyptian drama has lost a heavy weight indeed.

Arab world without Egypt won't have TV to show for...As much as I don't like Egyptian dialect, surely its the funniest...Yaa akhii Since have you watched TV free of Haram things....Tune to Saudi Channel 1 for least Haram content...

Don't get me wrong, I was talking from
the Arab world prospective, Do you see any controversial
scenes in any Arab non-Egyptian shows/films? That's what I meant.
Uncensored American movies 10 years ago were more explicit, but at least I could have seen it coming.

You think I'd ditch international blockbusters for R rated Egyptian movies?
And no, I would rather to kick the TV down to the floor than watching a Saudi channel/shows 24/7

Sorry. I'll adjust my response accordingly.

OMG! Not Nour el sherif?!!! He was such a talented individual. He was my 5th favourite sexagenarian Egyptian actor. I'll never forget his haunting role in Oh Falafel! Where art thou? from the Falafel trilogy

Do you seriously think he was forced to do sex scenes? Nacalaa aabihi kuu yaal, qaa'in buu ahaa. Must be where the lyrics 'Rock the casbah....Sharif don't like it" came from

Waa la igu qasbay miyuu oran jiray?

Only God can judge him , all we have to say is Allah yar7amo , I didn't like his work that much except in Harun alrasheed and Umar ibn Abdulaziz

I like old Egyptian comedy, not into drama that much , I used to like Saeed Sale7 Allah Yar7amo the best comedian in Egyptian history

I dont watch them either bc they dont suit our intellectual levels anymore lakin i like watching everywheres comedy

Egyptians r on the bottom of development when it comes to the arabs, they r too raifi/villagers

gulf arabs r closest to us based on the looks but they r too arrogant just bc they r filthy rich

If they had no wealth they would have been looked down by other arabs

Lebanese have occidental culture but they r f-king racists

Currently im watching this lebanese comedy
