It's ironic how you have done a typical Somali U-Turn supporting Xasan Sheikh and his administration completely at one point to now suddenly changed your whole idea. Osob, the only clans who had influence in hassan sheekhs govt r sheekhal and HG...abgaal had no role in it politically but they r full in his admin specially wacaysle without playing political role....to some level like that, there r few hawadle opportunists who r his right hand men and they r close relatives
Hawadle politicians r represented by godah and abdifatah...though they are another opportunists they leave behind some legacy for beesha...it was godah who refused hiiraan to join galgaduud, has given us more represebtations in banadir and jowhar...he added beledweyne to top10 somali districts to be developed by the UAE(Coming project) he even had a role in beledweyne hosting the upcoming regional conference in some meeting in london with the UK officials who sent their diplomats to the region (from the embassy )
Hassan sheekh doesnt like a powerful politician like that but now he gave him a deal after he shaked his throne....to manage the process of forming a regional state for hiiraan and middle shabelle....the benefits r mainly financial...politically picking the future federal mps. godah knows this parliament will be there less than a year but he wants to do this through the interior post in the coming reshuffle and hassan tells him to pick one of the two options bc he may not have the interior post rather the international cooperation post
As for abdifatah, hassan has stayed away from him but now, as the elections is nearing he wants to get rid of him by using godah and abdirazaaq...abdi fatah has relations with IGAD and wants to impose himself through these circles. Not necessarily to be the leader but some ethiopian puppet in the admin...if he wins a seat in the admin he will be anti-hassan in the elections and hes already met gaas in nairobi...gaas has invated him to garowe!! I think this meeting has backfired him and it has some thing to do some with odowaa getting his way...
The only obostacle against abdifatah is farah abdulqadir Who pays for gabre millions of $ like he did against yuulka and gabre is the person who sends the reports to addis ababa
Abdi fatah once met prez hassan In adisababa...about his role in the coming regional state....one of the things they reached was holding the conference in beledweyne

So basically its the hawadle people who are pro-goverment not abdifatah and hassan knows any clash with them will empower the ethiopian agenda in the region
