Abgaals Come in

Postby Strategic » Wed Jan 06, 2016 6:30 am

One Simple Question-Why Abgaal Degaans Aside From Mogadishu are Neglected By the Government To the Point that the average Joe cant freely and easily travel in Abgaal Areas.

At best, the Abgaal areas of Warsheek ,ADALE,Mareeg etc are poignant testimony to the emptiness of past commitments, by both governments from 1960 to 2016 and aid agencies, to the development of This Region. At worst, the region’s historical neglect and relative underdevelopment implies a legacy of Corruption by our own Men , exploitation and exclusion from whatever progress other parts of the country have enjoyed. The vast majority of the Abgaal Areas , perhaps 70% , have seen virtually no improvement in living standards for decades, if not centuries. Health services, education, water development, where present, are all woefully inadequate; in most of these regions, they do not exist at all.
For example,Road Connecting From Maka-alMukarama Can be Extended To cover areas of CeelMacaan,Warsheekh and Adale,it is only 150 Km for F!cks Sake and cost less than 200,000 USA dollars,To build a Modern Paved Road That Connects Mogadishu To coastal Areas of Ceelmacaan,Warsheekh and Adale.
On education-No school in those areas,No investment By the So called Abgaal Presidents in the Region,Culusow ,sharif, are happy to give other regions Millions of Dollars Like PL,Baydhabo etc which are alien But cant Build 200Km Road that cost less than 300,000 Dollars?? Please enlighten Me why there is an Abject Case.
Governments Come and Go but such good infrastracture will remain in Place for centuries.
Ceelmacaan Port can be Upgraded To a small Port Like This one with Minimum Investment By the Gov To encourage Fishermen in the Area.
[img]http://www.shetland.gov.uk/ports/galler ... er.jpg[img][/img][/img] ,I am Happy at the change of Mogadishu and what is happening but we need to take into account our ancestral areas .Gurigaaga adaa iska leh

The average cost of a well designed drained tarmac road is approx. $ 200,000 per km and not $200,000 for hundreds of kilometers!

Abgaals have not invested in their part of xamar and they lag way back interm of education which will have strong impact on the communities development in thhr future.

I would also like to hear more

Kornel,There is No abgaal Part in the City,Abgaal Control 80 percent of the Mogadishu and Its security with partnership from other clans it is 28 Years since 88,alot of Change, have you been to abdicasiiz, yaaqshiid, xamarjabab ,dharkenleey or wajadir?? you will be amazed.
Back to the QUESTION,this is not about Mogadishu, but about a road that connects Cadale ,warsheekh To mogadishu, your quoted price is that of Western standard Road, and I am Just advocating for simple ROAD.

Lool i live in xamar so I dont waste time with somalibet statistics of 80% this 90% that abgaal dominated areas are completely lagging behind the rest of xamar most non abgaal xamar residents do not venture past liido beach mostly because the security sitaution is weak not due to shabaab like other areas but due to inherent banditry.
There is no road that comes in at $1000 per kilometer riiyo maalmeed ka naga dhaaf

that certainly doesn't seem what we hear on the internet about mogadisho. I guess these people are more concerned with online image then the reality
