Desperate journeys, this is a silent Disaster. ainabo is town of around 20 thousand people in the middle of Somaliland. if there are hundreds of illegal immigrants in that little town, I wonder how many are still roaming around Hargeisa and Borama. This can not be solved without cooperation between Ethiopia puntland and Somaliland. most of these people are on their way to bosaso , puntland police should crackdown the human trafficking network based in Bosaso. This a shame on Ethiopia the so called fastest growing Economy in Africa. Their people are running from them to Yemen the hell hole of the gulf ! . They got to do something about this problem.

No, the root cause is definitely Ethiopia's oppressive TPLF regime. There is a reason why these people are running from their homes.

loool deportations , really, and does Somaliland has the resources to deport these poor people to their regions?? or by deportations you mean just throw them in the desert of the Hawd.

By the way these are desperate people that's biten by the "tahriib" bug , they need educations not humiliation where few Qaadwale-politcians hold a press conference in front of these poor people who are sitting under the son. uncivilized savages indeed, they are making the illusion of doing something in reality , these fat cats in Caynaba are nto doing anything for the people of Caynaba and for these poor people, they are just inciting hate among tow desperately poor people.
