Lasanod— Ocean Airline began operations on Monday, with a flight from the capital Nairobi to the Lasanod, Sool’s provincial capital. Most of those on board on Ocean’s first flight to Lasanod were by diaspora members that hail from Sool region in Somaliland.
Most of the residents in Lasanod have made their happiness over the flights that Ocean resumes in Lasanod. Ethiopian and Flydubai Airlines have direct flight to Hargeisa, Somaliland’s capital. Turkish Airlines as well as Kenyan Airways are due to commence daily flights to Hargeisa as plans are underway.
