Salman Rushdi

Postby Fortuna » Sun Feb 14, 2016 11:09 am

So does anyone know about The Satanic Verses?

What's the deal? Apparently there was a surah removed from the quran many many years ago because it conflicted with our beliefs of 1 god and that worshiping any one other than Allah is shirk. As I understand, there use to be passages regarding the worship of 3 old Meccan goddesses from the polytheistic times.

Does anyone on here have any credible sources or thorough understanding of that whole ordeal?

Was the backlash part of our collective defense mechanism of 'Don't say anything about our perfect religion' or were there actual offenses made other than his supposedly historical findings? (in which case, did NOT warrant the fatwa?)

Why don't you just search for articles related to the fatwa?
Stop being so lazy. :)

Ah, another atheist who is trying to take shot at Islam.

Besides, isn't this girl the one a week ago shopping for a Somali man, saying she dated other non-Somali men but now she wanted a Somali man? She even went further and accused the Somali men in Canada "not marriage material".

Now, give it up, girl. If you aint Muslim, quit pushing your kufr onto our noses.

Yaab iyo nus!

Let me get this straight, words of Allah SWT were removed from the preserved Quran because it conflicted with the belief of...? :mindblown:

Subxanallah why Are you guys calling me a gaal????

I asked a question for those who remember the ordeal. This was not click bait and you're disgusting for calling me that because I'm asking a question.

My statements are based solely on what I read on the drama. I'm not giving my own thoughts or opinions and wanted to know if that's what really happened.

Gegi adeer chill the FK out.
