Sahal
One of the biggest criticism of Gaas is that most Puntland businessmen whom faroole kept in puntland with all the millions received from piracy funding many pet projects, have gone to Xamar for opportunities as the funds have dried up in their regions, this problem is affecting everyone, it would be foolish to expect a Xamar native would want to change the status qua, I have seen HG, Weceysle, Murursade iskaba dhaaf reer hiiraan wanting to do something in their central regions with no luck, we spent years and years convincing Sacad's in Xamar to invest in Mudug with limited success, we lost that battle but at least got the ones in Nairobi to invest, it's not easy man
I have been campaigning for Hobyo for a decade now and just as we got several man to put serious investment into the region that was about to kick start this month, f-king Guled just handed the place in which sacad live in 42/44 tuulo's to a Saleeban Damjadiid whom isn't born there and came from Norway, they only live in 2 tuulo's in Hobyo, wouldn't even care if he was a smart guy with a track record, but he is an idiot, the first week, he brought a notorious saleeban pirate into the city that was barred for so long that shot at Sacad xilibhaano almost provoking war, everything has been put on hold as a result, there are some moriyaans impossible to work with so I feel you on that part.
The only way the status quo will be changed is by the people themselves, you guys are in a far better positions then us, my people are everywhere, were as yours are mostly in hiiraan so the job is easier, it's all about mobilizing people, for the best part of 10 years I have been paying a percentage of my salary to the cause including many of us Sacad especially business people, this was paying for troops, hospitals the poor etc in the old galmudug and it continues so until this day. on a wide scale, I only see Isaaq doing this to some degree from the rest of Somalis from what I have seen, maybe you can tell me whether Xawaadle is equally as mobilized if not especially the diaspora.
