Futurist, as useful as phones are, I think it's bad because they may no longer dedicate resources to video cards or capabilities in general in consoles. It will make them lazier than they have been in terms of part for part upgrades (for example the PS3 vs ps4).

Plus why would you want your phone to be more advances than a console that should be able to handle displaying extremely higher resolutions, a phone with more ram or even better cpu? To be honest I don't know how deep this claim is that "phones will become more powerful than consoles" but it's an annoying thought lol
