Three months left to elect new president, who will be?

Post by sahal80 »

I really don't care who ever replaces the useless garguurte and his likes!

Strongest 4 politicians to win this race

1) omar abdorashid. funders: kenya and the UAE

3/farmajo the same group who were campaigning for hassan sheekh in 2012 like fahad yasin r campaigning for him now funders qatar and the UAE and maybe turkey soon

3/Unanounced feels aka sheekh candidates...meetings between fish and sharifow group to pick a candidate

The last to get through will be badiyow, he has no chance

analysis

Let us start with omareey, he has learned alot from his previous experiance so hes less confrontational within the govt in this era also balances his clan relations

Where his bases r from? Mainly his clan but not unanimousely as gaas and madobe thinking of the hardcord yuulka!

Popular in khatumo/USP though their file is now in garowe hands

Ethiopia was behind ali Khalif-qoorshel coalition bc to fit the ethiopian policy for somalia aka building blocks they must have access to the sea!

After they got the ethiopian endorsement they went to the pm who supported it and then hassan sheekh who said he head and PL accepts it he won't mind

Modobe has supported it as a potential regional ally to counterbalance southwest!

However the idea was totally rejected by gaas and his subclan saying that if we let these two go, galdogob will follow them!

Sources say that omareeys plan is to have strong sacad pm perhaphs awale kulane his grand-maternal cousin, due the clan situation of xamar he will refrain from the dialy politics

Very close to sharif hassan so it's possible that he will back him against garguurte when the truth comes out!

Critics say that his very late campaign may damage his chances

https://mobile.twitter.com/awalekullane?lang=en-gb

If farmajo has money he could have a chance this time to go to the second round....forget about his popularity and all this bla bla we have seen him last time securing less than 20 votes!

Now two groups have joined him: the qater crew like fahad yasin and the murursade of ala sheekh as farmaajo wife is one of them so his in-law abdikarim jamac who picked his as the ala sheekh pm is now campaigning for him in this wing of the intellectual ala sheekh

Abdi caynte may join him later

Jamac is the director of city university so it's founder abdullahi bariise is a professor in the UAE!

Ethiopia will be big obstacle to farmajo

Don't wonder bc all these countries r funding all of them so they can have who gets through!

I won't comment on badiyow bc I don't think these folks can continue this time!

Gives us break!

Elections will take place in halane not in the parliament!

No extension at all!

Any one who can fill the the deep pockets Of Somalia MPs can win the election. Countries like Ethiopia and Kenya have no financial power they are too poor To satisfy the MP's High demands. In my opinion those who are already in control of Somalia government will most likely win the next election. Simply because they have a lot of Aid money to fund their campaign.

Ustad good analysis

I discussed the heavy rumour that's pretty much already out there with Damul Jadiid agreeing Omar Abdi Rashid to become the President to counter Shariif surge, however that contingent on him getting support from Darood camp which is pretty much Majerteen, there greed will eventually destroy these hopes.

Farmaajo has no chance, he was begging the general public few months back for funding which will be his down fall, also the Ethiopian's and Amisom hate the guy, he refused them to sit in there bases to collect money, not only that but even the IC don't like him, for ruining their holidays sitting in Nairobi collecting checks, he got them all to Mogadishu, purely based on merit and achievement, he is by far the best heads and shoulders over the rest.

Yuulka is the worst guy he and Faroole are both broke, I would be surprised if they make it out of the first round if they are running for presidency.

The contest will be between Omar Abdi Rashid, HSM and Shariif, wouldn't be surprised if both DJ ran to break up the votes to ensure Shariif doesn't win in a landslide, if HSM succeeds in the formation of the last state, he will have a good chance of winning, it will be interesting to see how it's all played out, the goose will be who has the most $$$ and best strategy. HSM proved he has the better strategy.

The tribalism of sahal is amazing.

Image

i can say with 90% certainty damul-jadiid will be back favorably HSM or other party loyalists.i envision better future if HSM is elected to lead somalia into 2020.
His policies
-friendly relations with neighbouring countries mutual cooperation in trade, commerce.
-strong allied to Turkey,EU,USA and Arab Golf Countries.
-Pro-development and pro-peace party, the number of projects are sheer and upcoming projects are even sheerer.
-Opened somalia to the world trade.
-draught reduction strategy, the south of the country has survived the worst elnino in 25 years by increasing local governance, even little gov input has improved their lives otherwise we could have witnessed the worst draught instead we are enjoying economic growth.
HSM will lead the country to 2020. :som:

just remembered you mentioned that but the difference is that the candidacy has nothing to do with do at all, infact they r supposed to be political opponents. They just knew how to coexist. But don't you see this good for you, sacad HG entered from the back door as PM? His sources say he will nearly be in the backseat and will let the pm handle the politics for political sensitivity. Don't wanna be like yeey.

Farmajo of yesterday is different than today, this time hes a frontman for many political groups who have arab and Islamic support. Money+charisma

I have no doubt if Omar Abdirashid wins he would actually do that, last time he got sacked some of his maternal relatives demonstrated in wisil to my disbelief, he is a balanced guy from what I have seen from his speeches, supports galmudug even going as far as showing the hypocrisy of Gaas in his speech in Burtinle.

There may be a reason behind him signing those fictitious papers in Garowe, perhaps to garner support for himself from among tolka, not too fussed what tribe the person will be, it needs to be a strong man that can have a good impact and change the course of the country, what's the latest with hiirshabelle? because the outcome of that will determine a lot.

It's going to be one hell of a drama with so many people running, I have no problem if either Farmaajo, Shariif, HSM or even Omar win's, just as long as it's not yuulka, faroole, baadiyow which is highly unlikely anyway

The regional and IC status quo towards Somalia is to have an Abgaal president.

Everyone feels comfortable with an Abgaal and things will remain that way for the next decade or so.

Abgaal threaten no body and they are not crazy about greater Somalia agenda either. As long as they have their Xamar and money coming in they are easy to deal with.

Waa in Nin HG ladoortaa. We cannot be subject in Abgaal Monarchy politics. This HG betrothal to Home Affairs ministry has to stop. H/Affairs is the position that Masaai's get in Kenya. I thought we were the heavy Weight.
