Ethiopia tries to cover famine in Somali kilil, Afar

Postby AwRastaale » Sun Apr 24, 2016 2:06 am

More than 18 million people face acute starvation in Ethiopia but the TPLF regime is leaving no stone unturned to conceal the situation. It knows very well once images get out the end result.

In Ethiopia revolutionaries and regime changes always followed a famine or major droughts. These were often the triggers and Ethiopia always put a lid on such.

Dadka qar waxay uu haystan inan Itoobiya tageero oo xata waxan oo kale uu qariinayo lakin anigu waxan idin dhaho uun dadka kala bartaa. Siysadoda barta. Dhaqankoga kala garta wayo iyaguba way idin bartan siba Somalidu wa naive oo they offer FREE classes. Adoon waydiisan bay xata ku odhan kalay Af Soomaliga ku bare. Nin cad oo 5 eray so xafiiday ayeey xata gabadh siin.

If you fighting cancer, become a scientist or a doctor afka uun haka odhan wallahi cancer wa cadawgayga ila tarikhiiyan.

Maha inad agenda-ga bananka keentid oo 24/7 ku jirtid wan necbahay, wa cadaw, wa kan. Concealed agenda, clear vision.

Ethiopia is a bust and regardless what it does it cannot conquer the same old enemies of hunger, poverty, famine, drought and endless regime changes.

It is due for one anytime now.

There have been few positive stories but nothing tangible not sustainable.

It is one major sinkhole that is eating itself despite only showing the top tarmac layer but the sinkhole will take that too at anytime.

Here is the funny story right. In Shinile/Sitti zone of Somali region almost all the livestock has been wiped out.

Yet they want to build pipeline to export "free" water from the same very zone to Djibouti as an incentive.

Think about it.

Interesting. I'm not very familier with Ethiopia.
I do know that the river Nike is one of its resources which has strategic interests for both the Ethiopians and the successive Egyptians regimes from Nasir to the sisi of today.

If Ethiopias has the river Nile why is it not using this water to become an aggricultural power house that can take care of all of its food securities??

I think that's why many reer Shiniile crossed the border into Awdal province to get some serious attention. Ethiopia is the worst regime in Africa when it comes freedom of expression. You can't fart if they say so because of their insecurity. Imagine if every Ethiopian have the same level of Freedom ofexpression as Somalilanders, and there is free press in every village they could cope the droughts more effectively. But if you don't want to hear some one saying I am hungry that's big problem.

This is a good example of how they control people's mouths
Mindful of how television cameras portrayed Ethiopia three decades ago, officials also keep a close eye on the foreign media, even tracking down one woman who told a BBC reporter that her child had perished because of the drought. She later appeared on state television, saying her child had died of illness instead.
