People have different lives, choices, budgets, values, etc.

They can come to Hargeisa and get visas if they want and they will get an answer within 48 hours.

My boy who just left Addis today for Hargeisa after months and he got his visa within 48 hours. Remember Ethio flies to Hargeisa and the visa is in their business interest. It flies 3 times weekly.

These guys are going to Garowe coz probably they using Somalia passport.

My two cents
SL its economy depends on ethiopia,so it makes perfect sense they cooperate, going to garowe is an economic preference, ethiopia airline can arrange your visa easily but will charge you hefty sum of money,400-500 dollars and you know a family of 4 people cant pay that.the visa bussiness by ethiopia airlines is predatory and the poor people cant pay.

Xamar is way too far just for a visa. Garowe is our neighbor so why not. Since when did somalis need visas to enter ethiopia. Even through land?

Garowe is almost 600 km away from xamar so I can understand why it was chosen over xamar it's closer and safer.
