Laughing Laughing Saxib, it is mostly girls and I pretend I am an ethiopian anyway so they relax Laughing Laughing

I have seen only one guy feel uncomfortable at first when he was hired at our work and was relactant to get to know the rest of somalis including me. And that is because, he has a piercing in his tongue and walked funny like a homo, came to work with tattooed afro-american girl.

Anyway, the degree of discomfort both girls and guys feel about other somalis depends on how far removed they are from what they know to be a somali norm. Little they know nobody cares anymore. Sad but indeed the truth.

"Lost" In the true sense of the word haddiiba la kala cararaayo Laughing Laughing

DEMOLITION-MAN.

Saxib, I forgot to tell you to not be concerned with their discomfort. You either make them comfortable by talking to them saying "hi" if possible and you will spend sometime with them within the area or altogether pretend you haven't seen them. That is my rule.

I had a classmate in the physics class, I used to sit in the back, my favourite spot and she at the front. We haven't said hi to each other for half semester. Finally, she came around when she saw I was ignoring her too and helping the white girls Laughing Laughing Perhaps she thought I was liberal and cool afterwards LOL.
