Why ain't Somaliland speaking against

Postby SuldaanOfSanaag » Sun Oct 23, 2016 4:24 pm

The Turkish military base in Mogadishu, it will be detrimental to Somaliland peace .

They will train and most properly help Mogadishu to gain a foothold or at least try to regain Somaliland, if peace and stability comes to Mogadishu.

The Somaliland administration has to at least acknowledge the harm it could cause in the long term.

Somaliland who? You mean the suit wearing Isaaq con artists?

Well.. Their specialty is not politics, its inter Isaaq division and they use their clan groupies oo lagu yaqaano xinka dhillooyinka. That's why no one is speaking out against Turkey.

Somaliland indirectly responded to that. Arab coalition military base is the answer. remember Egypt hates turkey . Those Egyptians are begging us every day .

How will militias trained in Mogadishu take foothold in Hargeysa.. mind if i ask, how are they going to get there?

The Ethiopians are leaving in hordes and alshabaab will dominate the areas they vacate..forget Hargeysa first things first let the Turkish Fed militias past gaalkacyos newly built maxjar first.

That's not what he meant. Somalia using turkey can train and empower khaatumoseeg rebels and of course puntland.

As Yusuf said they can indirectly or directly help Mogadishu gain some kind of foothold on Hargeisa .

We all know puntland Is part of Somalia and will assist xamar to capture Hargeisa also turkey might give Mogadishu military fund like USA does for isreal. But I know alshabab are still in Mogadishu but my friend you have to think in the long term as politic can change quickly.

But Yusuf Is right we can use the Arab coalition as some kind of leveraging.

Somaliland has to build its military , number one priority of the new government.

Make no mistakes, Somalia has to have strong SNA with real military grade weapons, Air Force (currently being trained in turkey) and a good navy.

Somalia is tired of wars, I really don't see the mistakes of the 80's-90's being repeated again. Arm conflicts will not solve sh!t but propel misery for decades. I believe we can Solve our political differences with beesha Issaq through sincere dialogue.

However, we need to secure the rest of the country first! We have to deal with alshabaab and other rogue militias, we have to deal with these "federal" states and corrupt politician hiding behind their qabiils that take orders from foreigners, and most of all, we have to make our neighboring countries respect our complete sovereignty.

Rather calaacal to "anternaashnaal Koomuniti", Somaliland needs to simply do the same.

Perhaps counter that by having some else that dislikes the Turks( plenty to be found) set a military base in Somaliland. It takes two to tango

Ps, Advocate sorry to disappoint you, but majority of those sent to Turkey to study way tahriiben to Mainland Europe.

There is nothing to speak about and SL voice doesn't carry any influence in any region.

SL needs to see the Turkish factor is actually a blessing in disguise.

You need to play your cards right and use Turkish foes including Arabs, Kurds and even Israelis to your advantage.

So far the Arabs made it clear they want Berbera so give them that and let them invite their Lawrence too.

Really SL has the opportunities and Turkey's presence in Mogadishu works in her favor.

To the West you need to convince them SL needs same approach as Kurdistan, at least some direct engagement.

In the same manner they limit Baghdad and under cut Ankara, we need to do the same in the Horn.

Turkey's base is a threat to the whole region including Ethiopia. For all we know the Turks could be trying to revive an Ottoman style incursion and seeds for another Ahmed Gran.

So Ethiopia has right to invite Russia too.

The region is getting hot. The Chinese and Japanese will fight over Djibouti.

SL has to be with Khaleejis and Israelis against three way war; Turks, Persians and Arab-Israelis.
