One of the things that makes me laugh is the idea that S/land is not part of this process.

This was long exposed when HSM tried to give P/land more upper-house seats, and you saw the crazy media frenzy, pretty much exposing their involvement.

This is the first time in an election were the representatives from S/land are no longer hand picked by Xamar, but selected by the S/land community (the non corrupt)

I am absolutely impressed by the sheer quality of the people (on paper) to represent S/land in this new government.

The International community is behind this whole push, not HSM who is in bed with Kulimye, fantastic roster of people.

Somehow I don't think so. AMISOM have been in Southern Somalia since 2007. Yes, you read that correctly. AMISOM have been in Xamar for a decade. In that time not a single positive thing has happened. Somalian still has alshabab, still has endemic corruption and political ineptitude, still has preventable drought and famine, still has tribal warfare, still has it's natural resources plundered by the whole world.
