Finally a tad bit of individuality, principality in Somali foreign policy that is not just grab a couple bucks and run. Past Somali Governemnts probably would have taken a few bucks that was offered by Saudi, UAE and then put it in their personal bank accounts followed by a deceleration that "We cut ties with Qatar". Not this time.



At the end of the day, Qatar has financially backed Somalia and Turkey Has also been there for us from a humanitarian standpoint. Diplomacy 101 says You stand politically with Your long term allies at the expense of the vultures. To heck with the selfish, opportunistic UAE, Saudi. Again great job

All I say is if you are going to sell Somalia dont sell it cheaply the countries that taking sides this argument have investments and assistances that are worth billions so we shouldnt surrender when we are given 10 millions or so

Farmajo and Kheyre had to make a choice and I support their choice 100%. They picked the lesser of the two evils. The Saudi promised 4 billion but I am pretty sure the Somali government can get more from their stand against the Saudis. Qatar along with Turkey will now have the respect of Somalis.

What a breath of fresh air these guys are. I remember culusow getting 50 million to cut ties with Iran, and the Iranians Laughing their ass off saying Somalis is like a hoe that nobody wants.
