The narrative they are pushing is that if they open up their economy and surrender to the US, all will be well and things will improve.

The problem is when the coup is finally launched and the government is "democratic" and pro US, and the central bank back under foriegn control you will have austerity.
What will follow is mass unempolyment, and millions facing starvation.
Venzualans are not greeks and are not politically ignorant or apathetic , when you are starving things will appear to be very clear.

These economic conditions are created by a well organized rich clique with USA aid and coordinations. Its an old economic sabotage they created shortage of food , medicine, and all essentials using hording method.
