Poor guy, why are you adding empty sections of outskirts of Jigjiga. Jigjiga is half of Burco if not less, Jigjiga isn't even Somali city anymore the habish are majority in Jigjiga.

Btw Balbala and Djibouti are two different cities, Balbala is a city with mainly slums, it's close to Djibouti city doesn't mean it's part of it. Just like Khartoum and omdurman or Leeds and Bradford.
Check it man .it is not empty :shaq:

What about this .the western outskirts of Hargeisa .l was honestly tracing even the small scattered settlements in the periphery of every town .Don't live in denial .go and build the two tiny HJ cities(Caynabo and Ceelafweyn) instead of disputing the obvious fact :MJ:

Wrong. Balbala is a neighborhood of Djibouti. Djibouti has absorbed Balbala and it is part of Djibouti city municipality.

All these cities are dwarfed by Dira Dhabe with an area of 1,000 square kilometers. Even if half of it is Oromo, it is still pretty good size that we inhabit. Imagine a city of 500 square kilometers inhabited by Somalis of Dir ancestry. Say masha'Allah!
Which part do Oromo and Somali settle in DireDawa ?btw l measured it .it is densely populated but not wider in area sq. miles

Oromos and Somalis are in all neighborhoods. Hafad issa is Somali majority, and Laga Harre is Oromo Majority and the rest are Mixed. I’m from Qafira, there are Oromo, Harari, Amhara and Somalis there but majority Oromo. Depends on the neighborhood. Oromos are majority in the southern half while Somalis are to the north east.

Use your app and post it here. I was looking at an image that said it is 1,000 square kilometers. I will share it later.

Here is info about Dira Dhabe. Come to think of it they added the district where the Gurgura, Dir live.

That makes sense since Sitti, Jigjiga and Djibouti are all by and large on a northeasterly direction. Hafad Issa is a bit south of the airport.

Not entirely accurate as Laga Harre is inhabited by Gurguras, Str8 is adding Gurgura to the Oromo numbers. The Nole and other Afran Qallo inhabit the Gurgura neighbourhood because they intermarry.

Don't be fooled Cuz.

The Gurgura inhabit Southern Dire Dawa and rural areas South of it but as they have friendly relations with the Afran Qallo confederation, Oromo speakers have traditionally flocked to their side of town as the Ciise keep it real. Nonetheless, you also have a lot of Habasha and other ethnicities in mixed neighbourhoods of the city.

By the way, Dire Dawa is predominately surrounded by Sitti apart from Southern parts.

Str8 knows this too!

Not including Gurguras. I don’t include them when I speak of the Oromos. When I include the southern area, I include them because the Kombulcha wordea borders dire to the south. This is the Noole homeland. All Noole sub clans are found in this area.

Gurguras are all over the city, but most live towards malka jabdu town.

Gurgura are Oromo. At least hybrid.

One day half claim Somali, next day Oromo. Half this half that.

They voted Oromia in the referendum and secured Dire Dawa’s charted city status.

Maybe the 1000km2 you're talking about is the total regional boundary of Dire Dabe which consist of the City proper and the non-urban woreda of the Gurgura even Nairobi and Adis Abeba are 696 km2 and 576 Km2 respectively which are NOT only the area of the city proper but also including the greater metropolitan area of the two cities.

Just like the Garre ,Gurgura are Somalis who are heavily absorbed into the Oromo culture .No doubt Gurgura are Somali.
