Not going to lie Muse Bixi has been a failure so far I was expecting a lot from him but so far he’s been a let down.
1. The country has never been so divided
2.The ceelafwayne wars have become a lot worse under muse Bixi
3. Fighting with Somalia (puntland).
4. Failed diplomacy Somaliland is in a bad position in terms of international stage. Everything going to Xamar.
5. No improvements on the economy, Somaliland shillings going down against the dollar, plus regular inflation happening every few months
6. No projects being completed the cerigabo road no news of completion, DP world yet to expand the port of Berbera. Berbera to wajaale road no news...

And all Muse has been doing is locking himself up in the presidential palace.

You do know that it was a great diplomatic blunder, because not only has he involved somaliland into local somali issues he has also told the world that somaliland is just another federal state in Somalia who is squabbling for land with another federal state Puntland. He has also made dhulbahante closer to Puntland.

Tutarak was a disaster for Puntland and Somaliland but was a blessing in disguise for Somalia.

Tukaraq was the best thing President Muse Bixi did in his short time at the helm. It would have been a PR disaster if he would have let the boon marehan mayor of mogadishu visit anywhere in Sool which was the plan at the time. By capturing Tukaraq he simultaneously showed forced and embarrassed the cheeseman, who could not say or do anything other that tweet, thus showing the world how powerless he is, as well as mounted huge pressure on Abdiweli Gas and the Puntland administration to 'liberate' Tukaraq, something everyone knows they are not capable of doing. Now Gaas and Puntland have been stuck for the past 8 months making declarations of liberating Sool, without successfully doing so, making them look incredibly weak which was noted by reports from international organisations such as the latest report from Crisis Group. The pressure for Gaas is real, especially with the upcoming Puntland elections. President Bixi did this all the while framing the issue as a Somaliland VS Somalia dispute.

The only winner out of this situation was Somaliland. Puntland looks powerless in the face of Somaliland's military advance so close to its capital Garowe, incapable of defending the territory it claims, the cheeseman is shown to the world as powerless pretender, not able to cross the Somaliland/Somalia border and with little actual influence on the ground to affect the situation. Somalilanders are more united behind their armed forces, and we have seen all the regions from Awdal to Sool send donations in solidarity with the army.

If anything, the only negative here is that the President showed restraint. General Taani wanted to march all the way to the border, which would have sealed the deal, but Biixi ordered him to stay put in Tukaraq.

How is it a blessing in disguise for Somalia? Somalia violently attacked Somaliland and doesn't respect our borders and my president kicked you out. Silaanyo was a statesman. He actually knew what he was doing and oozed confidence thus building confidence with the people. Plus what muse bixi did had some significance if puntland got away with tukuraq they would have pushed further in land and farmaajo would have tried coming on our soil undermining the whole existence of Somaliland so lets not downplay that. However I have no confidence in musse bixi when it comes to international politics and recognition as I had with silaanyo i don't think he is fit for the job. I have more confidence in musse bixi then that wadani guy cirro he was bootyclapping for faqash and musse bixi is all about gooni isu taaga somaliland however i don't think he is qualified for the job like silaanyo was.

The Boundaries of the Republic of somaliland were set in Berlin in 1884 so there is no reason for somaliland to define its borders its set in stone and concrete The Boundaries of Somaliland were than later enshrined in the OAU charters and later on in the African Union. Somaliland was a recognized country in 1960 more than 35 countries across the globe recognized the Republic of Somaliland their borders are SET. Muse Bixi is not good at being a diplomat or international relations. He’s failed Somaliland on the international stage. Either he gets a very diplomatic foreign minister such as Ahmed Samatar or he should just do snap elections.
